The mission of Tipp City United Methodist Church is to develop radiant followers of Christ. The Discipleship Journey is a process of intentional steps in that development. All those who choose to follow Jesus are on a journey of transformation.

The first part of the Journey invites you to come and meet Jesus. Since WORSHIP is often a person's first experience in church, we strive to make our worship experiences inviting, relevant, and authentic. EXPLORE is an introductory experience to help you learn more about our church family.

Once your journey begins you are invited to grow through our core learning opportunities. Group 101, WALK, examines core beliefs and the mission and structure of Tipp City United Methodist Church. Group 201, GROW, will introduce you to foundational principles and spiritual disciplines that are essential for the Christian life. The final core group that we encourage all those on the journey to take is 301, SERVE that helps you identify and apply special God-given abilities for Christian service. These core groups, 101-301, make up the initial learning phase of the discipleship journey.

One of the fundamental building blocks of discipleship is relationship. We were not created to live this journey alone. That's why GROWTH GROUPS are the key ingredient to continuing on the discipleship journey in the relating stage. In this stage you grow deeper as you walk alongside others.

As you grow to become more like Christ on your journey, we will also prepare you to go and make other disciples. This final phase of the discipleship journey is where you put your faith in action and begin helping to develop others. In this part of the journey there are many ministry and mission opportunities to help you to continue to develop while you impact others. Though this is the end of the diagram this if far from the end of the journey. When you have been equipped and find a place to use your gifts and talents to impact others that's when the journey really begins!
