This follow up to the class "All the Places You'll Go" will focus on ways to better understand God's calling on your life and take action. If you missed the original class, that's okay, the team of teachers will get you up to speed.

Living Beyond Yourself (Beth Moore)

Instructor: Nicole Drown

Through this study participants will look at the supernatural aspects of the fruit and that you cannot grow, learn, or produce the fruit on your own. Beth challenges you to develop the fruit by maintaining an intimate relationship with the Spirit of God. A Spirit filled life truly results in living beyond yourself.

Core Principles

Believing in Jesus as Savior is the bottom line of the Christian faith, but to become a Christ follower, we have to move beyond simply believing and put our faith into daily practice. With plenty of group interaction and opportunity to build relationships with other, Core Principles is an introduction to what it means to live a committed Christian lifestyle, and gives a closer look at the deeply held principles that drive the behavior of a fully committed follower of Jesus. Core Principles is a pre-requisite to membership at Tipp City UMC.

Discover Your Christian Life (DCL)

Facilitators: Keith Lavy and Doug Young

Time: Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00 PM, starting Wednesday, Sept. 25

Class Duration: 12 weeks

Discovering Christian Life (DCL) is a course to help you understand the foundational truths of Christianity so that you can be firmly established in the faith, confident in what you believe, the effective in living the Christian life. The goal of DCL is to help you develop a biblical worldview with the ability to think through issues biblically to help answer the question, "What does every believer need to know to be fully established in the Christian faith?" DCL is made up of four twelve week courses and employs a unique interactive and ordered learning process. At the end of the four courses, you should be well grounded in the foundational truths of Christianity, able to stand firm in sound doctrine, equipped for continued growth in your relationship with God, and more effective in your relationships with believers and nonbelievers.

Financial Peace University

Introduction to American Sign Language (ASL)

Time: Thursdays, 6:30-8:00 PM, starting Thursday. Oct. 3

Class Duration: 6 weeks

This ASL class will be an introduction to American Sign Language and Deaf culture. In the United States, only about 2% of the Deaf population are Christian. People who are Deaf tend to think in concrete terms. Spiritual concepts are difficult to understand or explain in tangible ways and as a result, reaching the Deaf for Jesus can be challenging. This class will provide you with basic communication skills in ASL and can help you minister to the unchurched deaf you encounter.

Bible Explorer Roundtable

Reflecting on Jesus' Words

Our goals are to reflect on Jesus' Words and to encourage Christian fellowship. Reading the Bible together helps us feel at ease sharing events in our daily lives. As we continue the ongoing study, we plan to reflect on last experiences and look forward with anticipation to our journey with Jesus. It is recommended that you bring an NIV Bible.

Parents with young children enjoy getting together for food, fun and fellowship and discussion of family centered topics.

Our purpose is to spread God's love through acts of kindness to our community, neighborhoods, friends and family. We also focus on building relationships and digging into the Word to see what God has to say to the aging.
