  • Hannah’s Treasure Chest responds to the needs of children in the Miami Valley region by providing them with clothing, furniture, toys, books and other essential items. Specifically, you can help with their Brighter Smiles program. Brighter Smiles provides age appropriate dental hygiene kits to all children receiving care packages. Proper oral hygiene is promoted through educational literature provided in each kit. We are looking for 10 families to assemble 50 kits per family at home. This is a project good for any age. All material will be provided. Pick the contents of the kits at church on Sunday and return the completed kits the following Sunday.

  • Crayons to classroom’s mission is to secure and distribute school supplies at no cost to teachers of students in need. They have distributed over $13.3 million of classroom materials since opening their doors in 2008.  Student journals are the most requested item they give out. Teachers use them for art projects and English classes. We are looking for 5 families to assemble 100 journals per family at home. This project is good for all ages. All you need to provide are staples and use your own stapler. Pick up the supplies and directions on Sunday and return the completed journals the following Sunday.

  • Hannah’s Treasure Chest responds to the needs of children in the Miami Valley region by providing them with clothing, furniture, toys, books and other essential items. Specifically, you can help with their Blankets and Bears program. Blankets And Bears Volunteers at Hannah’s Treasure Chest lovingly hand sew much needed blankets and stuffed toys for babies. This project grew out of a continual need for such items, identified by volunteers who assemble our care packages. This program continues to grow as additional needs are recognized, and now includes dolls and pillowcases. We are looking for 5 individuals to work on 4 bears each at home. You will be given the pattern and the fabric. All you need to do is pin the pattern on the fabric and cut. Pick the contents of the kits up at church on Sunday and return the completed kits the following Sunday. No sewing required.
